Notice that the St Mungo Festival begins

on Wednesday 6 Jan 2016 at the St Mungo Museum with a double lecture
then Friday 8th at 10.00a.m.: St Mungo’s Bairns at Wellington Church;
Saturday  9th at 12.00 noon:  ‘The Vita Kentigerni’ at the Mitchell
Sunday 10th at 4.40: The St Mungo Festival Service in St Mungo’s Cathedral
Wednesday 7 p.m.: The St Mungo Mass in St Mungo’s Church, Parson Street, Townhead

 

Intercessions Epiphany 2016

That the Church will be renewed on this Feast of the Epiphany as we remind ourselves that the Gospel is for every human being,
and that all are loved by God.  Lord, hear us

That we will never forget that the whole Gospel is offered to us
and to every nation, and that all are entitled to share it.
Lord, hear us

For peace everywhere – especially where people are suffering so much from violence and war today in Syria, Iraq and so many other troubled places.
Lord, hear us

For those who are ill or house bound – including
