This year’s Burns Supper was a Jubilee affair!    Michael Kelly presided and gave the Address to the Haggis;  Jimmie Macgregor Toasted the Lassies;  Netta Ewing gave the reply. Peter McBride gave the immortal memory, Robert  Pitt Kelly delivered  Epistle to my young friend & Tam O’Shanter, Grace Buckley sang  Ca’ the Yowes and John Anderson, and Rhuari Morrison played the Pipes.   Mary Molloy and her associates in the social committee did an incredible amount of work in preparing the Supper, but on the occasion Mary and her family were laid low by illness and had to leave the actual execution or delivery of the evening’s events to Jacqueline and Pat who were ably assisted by the Burns Supper team   —    including Hannah McKirdie and Lucy Parkins who distinguished themselves with their friendly efficiency and hospitality.
