A Lenten Prayer from our Ecumenical Morning Prayer on Thursday

Look with kindness on our efforts during Lent, Lord.
Encourage us in praying,
strengthen us in self-sacrifice,
and guide us in caring for each other.
We ask this Christ our Lord.
Amen.

Remember next week’s Ecumenical Morning Prayer for Lent will be at Sherbrooke Mosspark next Thursday 12th March at 10.00

Intercessions

That we may be able to use the challenges of Lent – in prayer, self-sacrifice and goodness to others – to grow in faith and in service of our neighbour.   Lord Hear us

for the church – that the experience of the disciples with Jesus on the mountain, and their capacity to grow in faith, may encourage us all to look with far-seeing eyes, and to find the strength we need    Lord hear us
