This Sunday is Remembrance Sunday

Schools Cantata: 22 schools will gather at Wellington Church on Tuesday 10th November

to begin their celebrations of St Andrew
with a Cantata ‘St Andrew’ and a TV Newsflash from the Battle of Athelstaneford
and the choosing of the St Andrew flag
as our national banner.
They will be supported by a band from the music students of the Education Dept of Glasgow University.
This event is sponsored by Glasgow Churches Together  and subsidised by the Glasgow Educational and Marshall Trust.

16th November:

St Margaret’s Vigil will be celebrated at St Peter’s, Patrick at 7 p.m.
with an ecumenical Vespers led by Canon Peter McBride, with Sr Maureen Coyle SND speaking,
and the St Mungo Singers and instrumentalists leading the  music along with some young people from the High School.
