No-one who waits for you will ever be put to shame.
Teach me how to live, Lord!  Show me the way!…….

Intercessions

For the church: that we may live in awareness of God’s presence in our lives.
with the vision and courage to  build a society worthy of human dignity, the Kingdom of God.
Lord, hear us

That we may be alert to read the signs of the times,  able to take decisive action when it is
necessary and not just react to the agenda of other people.    Lord, hear us

For all the churches in our area, for the local schools, for  members of other faiths:
that this season of Advent may be a time of growth in belief in the one God,
and that our local community may be one in which friendship flourishes more
warmly.     Lord, hear us

For families and children preparing for sacraments: Lord,  hear us

For all who are ill, and  for those who support and care for them:
