Intercessions:

Intercessions October 8th

For the church: that with the leadership and support of Pope Francis, we may  convince the world that the Gospel values of human dignity

and equality are both worthwhile and manageable.   Lord, hear us

for Peace: We pray for peace throughout the world, 

for a better control of the Arms Trade,

and for the good will to abolish nuclear weapons.

We also pray for the people of Spain and Catalonia, that the political differences there may be resolved

with a concern for the good of all the people.    Lord, hear us

for the parish:  For the housebound and for all who are ill in the community, and for those who support and care for them:
