Parish Bulletin. Bulletin 6th Sunday February 17th
Special Mass with the St Mungo Singers at 7.00 this Sunday evening to celebrate Archbishop Emeritus Mario Conti’s 60th anniversary as a priest. All welcome
For the Church: that we may listen to the Lord’s voice in the beatitudes
and have the faith and the largeness of heart to accept what he says. Lord, hear us.
For all who have inherited the Gospel, that we may affirm our hope that this life is a preparation for the fullness of life with God.
Lord, hear us.
For our country and the European Union; for peace in the Middle East and Africa; for the United States, for Venezuela: that fair and practical solutions may be found for the problems that face us.
Lord, hear us.
We pray for the sick: for those who care for them, including
Andrew McLean, Heather Franke, Margaret Browne, Mary Bradley, Patricia Loose,
John Dunne, Frank Kierney, Anne Judge, Moira Montgomery, Margaret Bowen,
Joan Burns, Yvonne Watt, Anne Troy, and Catherine Gilbert.
We pray for those whose lives are at risk as they serve the country in the armed forces.
Lord, hear us
We pray for our dead – including Irene Bannan, Dorothy Laidlaw, Frances Divers, Bridie Gallagher, Elizabeth McCaig, Betty McKinney, and May Scott.
Lord, hear us
For those whose anniversary falls about now, including: Joe McAulay, Margaret Lanigan, Isabella Green, Nancy and Kevin Barrett, Gerald Barry, Norah Ritchie,
Lord, hear us
