Adult Morning Prayer – every 30 minutes from 8.00 – 11.30 – led by Brendan Gill with music from the St Mungo Singers and harpist Noel Donnelly.
It begins with ‘The Great Commandment’ and the psalm is Psalm 17: ‘I love you, Lord, my strength.’


Morning Prayer every 30 minutes from 8.15 – 11.45 from schools is given this week by Our Lady of Good Aid Primary School, Motherwell.

A short interlude comes from ‘Dreams of Time”: Adoremus; Ecce Panis; and Ave verum

A short service at noon:  ‘How blest are those’ for those who mourn takes place at 12.00 noon and at 6.00 pm

Evening Prayer is at 8.00 and 9.00 in the evening;

There is a Magazine program at 8.20 and 9.20 p.m. Our short magazine program this week comes from ‘Flourish’ the monthly of the Archdiocese of Glasgow, with Jean Swinbank giving us an account of Pope Francis’s address to the World Meeting of Popular Movements in Bolivia this summer: ‘Grass roots inspired change.’ The music in the program comes from ‘Night Fever,’ from The St Mungo Singers, and from Our Lady of the Missions Primary School. It is followed by a short reflection on Spirituality by Abbot Mark Caira from Pluscarden Abbey.

Night Prayer, led by Joe Docherty, is at 8.50 and 9.50 p.m.
