the parish Intercessions for the 6th Sunday of Easter

For Pope Francis, our bishops and the leaders of all the christian churches, that the Spirit of God will heal the misunderstandings and wounds we have inherited and lead us to a greater unity of mind and action.     Lord Hear us

We pray for all affected by the corona virus, for our healers, those who are seeking cures, and all who work in the health service.    Lord, hear us

We pray for children and families who have been preparing for First Communion:
that the deprivation experienced now may lead to a deeper sense of our unity as God’s family,  fed by the one bread and the one cup, sharing the one Gospel and the one Lord.
We particularly remember Holly and Adam whose First Communion is postponed until the Pandemic abates.   Lord, hear us

We pray also for the sick and the housebound within our families and community,
including Fred Newman,  Sean Fitzgerald, Catherine Mulrine,  Yvonne Watt, Bill Harrison, and John Gibson, and all the patients at the Hospice.

We pray for those who serve the country in the armed forces.    Lord, hear us

We pray for those who have died recently Peter McBride, Agnes Hinton,  Ellen Bradley and Mary Bradley.   We pray for those who mourn.

For those whose anniversary falls about now, including Eddie and Margaret Murtagh, Patrick Gara, and Rosemary Jamieson.   Lord, hear us
