Intercessions
For the Church: that we may be like Mary, treasuring God’s words and deeds in our hearts,
and may be encouraged by them in our daily lives.
Lord, hear us us
For a deeper awareness of the Spirit in our lives: that we may realise that we
actually are children of God & live in freedom and friendship with God.
Lord, hear us
For God’s blessing on our families, our friends, our parish and neighbouring
parishes in the New Year: that God will bless us with health of body, mind, and
spirit; and renew the gifts of the Spirit within us so that we may build up the
Christian community, and promote the common good.
Lord, hear us
For peace throughout the world, especially in the Middle
East and Africa; for economic stability everywhere, that those who live in anxiety,
poverty and hunger may be given a fairer share of the world riches.
Lord, hear us
For the sick of the parish and their families: David Crolla, Ursula Glancy, Donald McInnes,
