25th Sunday of the Year C 19th September 2010
Be Thou my vision, O Lord of my heart, naught be all else to me save that thou art;
thou my best thought in the day and night, waking or sleeping, thy presence my light.
Be thou my wisdom, be thou my true word, I ever with thee and thou with me, Lord;
thou my great Father, and I thy true son; thou in me dwelling, and I with thee one.
Dunkeld Gloria
Psalm 33 Taste and see that the Lord is good, taste and see.
I will bless the Lord at all times. His praise always on my lips,
In the Lord my heart will make its boast.
The humble shall see and be glad, the humble shall hear.
Taste and see that the Lord is good, taste and see.
Glorify the Lord with me, together let’s praise his name;
I sought the Lord, he answered me,
from all my terrors he set me free; he set me free.
Taste and see that the Lord is good, taste and see.
The angel of the Lord is encamped
round those who revere him to rescue them.
Taste and see that the Lord is good.
Happy is he who takes refuge in him. Happy is he.
Taste and see that the Lord is good, taste and see.

Lord, I seek to do your work, touching the world with your kindness.
Gladly I share your cross of pain, Trusting in your love.
Let your will be my will, let my will be yours.
In trust draw me close to you, the Saviour my soul adores.
Lord, I long for you alone, you are the treasure I yearn for.

Kelvinhall Sanctus and memorial and Lamb of God. . . . . .

Where true love is dwelling, God is dwelling there; God’s own loving presence love does ever share.

Bitterness now ended, let there be accord; always with us dwelling be our God and Lord.
May we share the vision with the saints on high of Christ’s matchless glory when we come to die.
Joy of all the blessed, be our heav’ly prize, dwell with us forever, Lord of Paradise!
